SDF 2006 Poster Session
Forum holding and our usual activities:
Since the circumstances surrounding the space development are changing rapidly, not only technology and natural science, but also social science is inevitable. From this viewpoint, we hold a big event, “SPACE Development Forum” every year in Tokyo, Japan. More than 800 people participated through four years.
In this event, we present the results of our usual study, invite famous specialists as lecturer, make workshops ,and moderate discussions which focus on the space development. Therefore, we supply the opportunities where those who have different backgrounds meet and exchange opinions about the space development.
In addition to the Forum, we usually communicate with various student groups, social groups and sometimes participate in events concerned with the space, for example the Space Law Moot Court Competition.
Besides the Forum, we always hold four kinds of study sessions a month, one kind a week. Members who major in each field make presentation and we share knowledge and exchange opinions through discussions.
At first, we learn basic management method. Next, we make business plans which focus on the space. Furthermore, we think about the future space business through analyzing present situations. This year we focus on the space travel.
We work on case problems concerned with the space law. This year we focus on contract concerning to space development.
We analyze space development policy of Japan and other countries. This year we focus on developing countries.
We share basic knowledge of space engineering, science and astronauts. Not only we study but also we make model rocket and water rocket. This year we focus on Manned space technology and safety analysis.
